Step 1: apply the foundation to the skin and blend with the fingertips or an applicator such as a makeup sponge or a makeup brush for an even result. Start in the middle of your face and work outwards, so you don't get a mask effect. Build up the coverage where necessary by applying an extra layer of mattifying foundation, for example on dark circles or red spots.
