• First apply the foundation to the outside of your hand
• Then start in the middle of your face and work outwards, so you don't get a 'mask effect'
• Build up the coverage by applying an extra layer of foundation where necessary, for example on dark circles or red spots
• Blend with a sponge or brush for an even result, or use your fingers
