A fantastic combination with the Zechsal foot bath or bath. When used together, Zechsal baking soda and Zechsal magnesium enhance each other. Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3-) forms a basic buffer in our blood. It ensures the blood remains slightly alkaline (pH 7.36) by neutralizing acidic waste products. Sodium bicarbonate is also commonly called baking soda because of its cleansing effect in the body.

Several scientific studies show that as we age, the amount of sodium bicarbonate in our blood decreases. Dr. Lynda Frassetto has shown that a substantial decline in bicarbonate buffers begins at the average age of 40. Many acidification complaints also arise from this age.

Dosage and use

Add 20 grams (1 tablespoon) to a foot bath and approximately 100 grams to a bathtub. The recommended water temperature is 37 degrees Celsius. Fragrance lovers can add a few drops of essential oil. Use a maximum of twice a week due to the strong detoxifying effect.

You can also take baking soda orally. Take half a teaspoon in a glass of water daily, preferably on an empty stomach.
